Information on women’s health is abundant but sparsely distributed across the Internet. We have created a repository, FemHealth, where information on women’s health can be easily found in one place.

The biomedical model of human disease is based on the assumption that diseases have the same symptoms and outcomes for both women and men.

Modern medicine is based on the male physiology as the default, and this extends to medical devices, which are male-centric in their design.

As a result, women are deprived of evidence-based healthcare, which translates to higher rates of misdiagnoses and side effects from treatments.
