Groin
The groin is made up of the adductor muscle group, and it sits between the abdomen and thigh. Groin pain is common and can be caused by injury, inguinal hernia, kidney stones or a bone fracture. Groin pain is typically experienced due to a strain in muscles, ligaments, or tendons particularly when playing sports like football, rugby, tennis or hockey.
Other less common causes of groin pain are hip osteoarthritis, ovarian cysts, pinched nerves, swollen or enlarged inguinal lymph nodes, orchitis, urinary tract infection (UTI), or intestinal inflammation.
