Shoulders

The shoulder is a joint that is supported by eight muscles that give it strength, stability and shape. Tendons connect the shoulder muscles to bones (shoulder blade, collarbone, and the bone between the shoulder and elbow). The shoulder muscles enable the movement and rotation of the arm. The four rotator cuff muscles in the shoulder are the most important shoulder muscles because they provide structural support to the shoulder joint and enable arm movement.

Due to the flexibility of the shoulders, there is considerable wear and tear making the shoulder susceptible to injuries and degenerative conditions.
